Project Overview

McGrane Nurseries, Young Nurseries and Nursery Fresh are all large scale producers of garden plants, herbs and grasses for trade customers.

Their produce is supplied to wholesalers, garden centres and multiples in Ireland and the UK.

These providers required online ordering platforms that not only brought modern forward-thinking efficiency to their businesses, but also enabled widespread distribution and entry into larger markets.

The Solution

Output Digital sought to develop custom built online ordering software that would facilitate web based supply and distribution for producers within the horticultural industry.

The online ordering systems are designed and created individually for each nursery to satisfy unique business needs, but they all include a number of similar features and functionality.

Ordering

Trade customers can set up an account, browse current product ranges and add their orders to the shopping cart.

Passfield Integration

The system integrates with each company’s locally installed horticultural software systems; Passfield.

Real Time Data

The systems contain up to date stock information, product images, customer data, pricing and discount information, all of which is available in real-time.

Accessibility

Each online ordering system has a web shop, accessible from the company website.

The Dashboard

Invoices and statements are pulled from Passfield then displayed on the customers dashboard.
